Beverly Hills, CA, July 8, 2020SodexoMAGIC, a 2006 joint venture between Magic Johnson Enterprises, LLC, owned by NBA Hall of Famer Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and the global food services and facilities management company Sodexo, today announced the appointment of Kisha Mitchell Williams as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. She will report to Selena Cuffe, President of SodexoMAGIC.

In her new role, Williams will manage and implement brand strategy for SodexoMAGIC, as well as oversee consumer insights, media planning, creative, and the innovation pipeline. The company empowers communities by offering best-in-class food and facilities management services to school districts, colleges, hospitals and corporations. SodexoMAGIC focuses on health and environment to create a positive difference in each of its customers’ lives.

“Kisha’s extraordinary brand marketing and management skills will be instrumental in delivering unprecedented brand growth,” said Cuffe. “She will play a pivotal role in delivering the brand’s mission to provide high quality-of-life services to diverse communities.”

With more than 20 years’ experience in consumer packaged goods marketing, Williams is a seasoned leader who has led billion-dollar marketing portfolios for the leading companies Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods and Procter & Gamble. Most recently, as the head of Brand Management for the Buffalo Wild Wings business, Williams was responsible for marketing and demand generation in repositioning the iconic brand.

Notably, Williams is also the co-founder of the nationally acclaimed My Black Is Beautiful brand, a community-first platform developed to start a national conversation around the biases African American women face in defining a standard of beauty. Since its inception, My Black Is Beautiful has earned numerous industry awards, including an Emmy for Best Commercial and the Grand Prix in Film at the Cannes Lions. It has garnered community service awards including keys to the city in both Charlotte, North Carolina, and Cincinnati, Ohio.

Recognized with a Mosaic Award and a Multicultural Award of Excellence from the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) in 2010, Williams was also featured by Black Enterprise in 2011 as one of the most powerful African Americans in marketing and advertising.

Williams completed her MBA at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, preceded by a BS from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, Dr. Damon A. Williams, and a daughter.
