We’ve made our hiring process as seamless as possible, from the submitting of your application to onboarding. Here’s what you can expect every step of the way.

Your Journey to Success 

Our commitment to a straightforward hiring journey means you can anticipate a swift and positive experience. From submitting your application to becoming an integral part of our team, we've crafted each step with care, allowing you to focus on what truly matters – showcasing your skills and contributing to our shared success.

     Step 1: Search + Chat 

    Start your journey with the search features on Sodexo’s career page or text with DEXI to find roles that you are interested in. Once you have selected a role, DEXI will ask a series of questions to learn more about you and your experience as it relates to the specific role.

    Step 2: Schedule + Apply 

    If you meet the minimum qualifications, DEXI will work with you to schedule an interview with a member of the hiring team. Once an interview is scheduled, DEXI will work with you to complete the remaining steps in the application process.

    Step 3: Interview  

    Let’s get to know each other! Interviews are typically conducted over the phone or through a video call. Some positions may require additional interviews that can take place over the phone, via video call or on-site. Feel free to ask the recruiter about the interview process for the role you’re discussing!

    Step 4: Congratulations! 

    You’ve found your fit! If selected for the role, you will first accept a formal offer presented by either the hiring manager or other member of the team. From there, you will complete any additional paperwork – such as medical release forms and pre-onboarding forms available through DEXI.

    Step 5: Welcome to Sodexo 

    Your next chapter is starting and Dexi will help you throughout the pre-onboarding process. Once all actions are complete, you will receive a welcome letter with first-day instructions and vital new hire information, including benefits (if eligible) and resources only available to Sodexo employees.  

    Now the only thing you have to do is get to know your new team and role!

    Step 1: Search 

    Start your search by finding the perfect match. You can search by keyword, location, job function and business segment.

    Step 2: Create 

    Once you’ve found the ideal role, create your profile to kick off the application process. If you already have a profile you can simply log in on the return users tab to start the process!

    Step 3: Review 

    After you submit your application, we’ll review your resume to see if you meet the required qualifications. If your background and experiences look like a fit, a Sodexo recruiter will reach out to schedule a phone call. If you are not a fit for the role, don’t worry we frequently update our career site and encourage you to pursue other open opportunities.

    Step 4: Interview 

    This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us. Once the recruiter finds your background and experiences to be a good fit for the role and the company, they will schedule you for a 1-on1 interview with the hiring manager or panel interview.     *Depending on the level/type of job, a candidate may be required to do multiple interviews, panel interviews, skills tests (aka chef–culinary demo), and client meetings.

    Step 5: Congratulations! 

    You’ve made it through the process! You will receive a verbal offer by either the hiring manager or a member of our team when the hiring decision has been made. After accepting, your formal offer letter and onboarding paperwork will be delivered via DocuSign and can be accessed in the candidate portal.

    Step 6: Welcome to Sodexo 


    You are joining a dynamic community of talented people. Before you start you will connect with your hiring manager to discuss your first day and what to expect, they will provide you with details on any equipment you may need, share an overview of your orientation schedule and location. Your manager will be your main point of contact to help prepare you for everything you need to be ready to join Sodexo.
