LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Sodexo Live!, the hospitality partner to the world’s most iconic venues, including the Las Vegas Convention Center, today announced that this year’s CES attendees will be able to enjoy pizza from renowned pizza chefs thanks to WonderWorks, a division of the innovative food startup Wonder.

WonderWorks, which provides custom menus and turnkey food programs to sports and leisure venues, hospitality companies, education and healthcare facilities, and more, pairs their innovative FLASH cooking technology with recipes from world-class chefs to prepare high quality meals with the touch of a button. WonderWorks is able to enhance food offerings by combining convenience with exceptional tasting menus, without the need for full-service kitchens and equipment.

Wonder’s flagship pizza program, which will be offered to attendees on the CES show floor, is capable of producing restaurant quality pizzas in minutes. This technology will be deployed in the Central Corridor across from Lucky’s Food Hall, and also at Honey Salt, both high-traffic locations. The innovation will help maximize throughput and get attendees through lines quicker while still being able to enjoy a delicious meal.

We are always looking to partner with companies that help us enhance quality and speed of service for our kitchen operations, said Matthew Wagner, Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth, Sodexo Live! North America.  What better setting than the world’s largest technology show to introduce and scale the Wonder technology to hundreds of thousands attendees this week at CES.

Partnering with Sodexo Live! provides an exciting opportunity to showcase our culinary expertise at CES and beyond, said Gus Pehrson, General Manager, WonderWorks. We’re thrilled to be working with such a globally recognized and innovative operator to provide new offerings across their portfolio.

The offering is part of Sodexo Live’s commitment to being on top of the latest trends in the culinary space. As robotics and AI become more fine-tuned, the company looks forward to strategically working with partners like Wonder to bring these solutions to life in the venues in which it serves. In 2020, Sodexo Live! partnered with Seattle-Based Picnic to introduce robotic-made pizza to a convention center setting for the first time, garnering CES Best-in-Show innovation recognition from the event.

Sodexo Live! Executive Chef Kristine Raymer has also debuted new food options for show attendees this year, blending locally authentic choices with guest-friendly dishes. From variety to pushing flavor boundaries, the choices pair well with the technology offered on the trade show floor. Anyone who has attended the show understands that the days will be long. Expanded breakfast, coffee and self-serve nitro coffee options abound, and there will be new breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches and expanded sushi options.
