Diversity Best Practices (DBP) Inclusion Index logoGAITHERSBURG, Md., October 24, 2019 - Sodexo, a food services and facilities management company committed to improving Quality of Life, has been recognized in the Diversity Best Practices (DBP) Inclusion Index for the third consecutive year, and has been named to the Index’s “Top 10 Percent” for scoring an 82 percent, among the highest of the 150 organizations nominated.

The DBP Inclusion Index provides data and insight about participating organizations specific to their diversity and inclusion practices in recruitment, retention, and advancement; organizational culture; and demographic transparency. The Top 10 Percent Inclusion Index is a new category added this year for the highest-scoring organizations.

“We are proud to be one of the 14 organizations that earned superior achievement,” said Gerri Mason Hall, Chief Diversity and Sustainability Officer, Sodexo Americas. “It reinforces Sodexo’s long-term commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.”

Sodexo’s commitment to diversity and inclusion has been consistently recognized by external organizations and notable diversity publications. In January, Sodexo was recognized on Bloomberg’s 2019 Gender Equality Index and FORTUNE’S 2019 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.
