(December 4, 2020) – The National Association of Concessionaires today named Greg Fender, Executive Vice President, Centerplate and Sodexo Sports & Leisure, to its Board of Directors. The appointment, effective immediately, has been reviewed by the NAC Executive Committee and was approved by the current Board of Directors at the latest virtual NAC Annual Membership Meeting.

The NAC Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the organization’s long-term financial stability and integrity, and that NAC fulfills its mission by doing quality work that promotes the members and the recreation and leisure-time food and beverage industry. The board directs and governs NAC activities in accordance with NAC Bylaws and in the best interests of the membership and the association. As leaders in the industry, Directors recognize that in order to foster NAC’s continued viability and growth, diversification of income sources is essential, and they pledge to personally contribute needed resources and talents to that end.

A visionary food service and operations professional with over thirty-five years of progressive experience contributing to optimal account performance, Fender is skilled in overseeing complex, large volume, multi-unit and special event venues that deliver service, revenues and efficiencies. He has a history of success in strategic planning to propel growth, and staff development to ensure service excellence.
