Sodexo appoints Alicia Kent as Chief Operating Officer, Schools U.S.

(June 25, 2026) — Sodexo, a global leader in food and services, today announced the appointment of Alicia Kent as Chief Operating Officer, Schools, U.S., effective June 15, 2026. In this role, Kent will lead operational strategy for the Schools business, with a focus on performance, growth, retention and delivering exceptional experiences for clients and communities.

Kent brings more than 30 years of experience in food service and hospitality, joining Sodexo from Aramark, where she most recently served as Region Vice President in Collegiate Hospitality. Her career spans frontline operations to executive leadership, including roles as Food Service Director, District Manager, Vice President of Operational Support and Regional Vice President in K-12 Education.

Alicia began her career as a WIC nutritionist in Pennsylvania before moving into K-12 school food service, where she built deep expertise in operations, nutrition, safety, team development and navigating evolving regulatory standards. She has led large, multi-site teams, opened and transitioned dining programs, and implemented systems that balance fiscal discipline with service excellence. Kent holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nutrition and is known for her collaborative, people-first leadership style and commitment to developing teams at every level.
