Sodexo achieves advocate status in the 2026 Workplace Pride Global Benchmark for the seventh consecutive year

BETHESDA, Md. (July 23, 2026) -- Sodexo has once again achieved Advocate status in the 2026 Workplace Pride Global Benchmark, with a score of 93.3%, marking the seventh consecutive year the company has reached this level of recognition.

This achievement reflects Sodexo’s continued commitment to building a culture where every employee, at every stage of their journey, feels safe, valued and empowered to contribute and thrive. It also reflects the sustained efforts of teams across the organization to strengthen inclusive policies, practices, everyday behaviors and leadership commitment.

This recognition reflects the continued commitment of Sodexo teams around the world, including North America, to embed LGBTIQ+ inclusion across the organization. In an increasingly complex environment for inclusion, this achievement demonstrates that progress is possible when inclusion is integrated into strategy, accountability and everyday decision-making. We are proud of how far we have come and remain committed to advancing a workplace where everyone can thrive.

“By embedding inclusion into the fabric of our business, we strengthen our culture of belonging and deepen employee engagement, creating the foundation for stronger performance, enhanced client experiences and long-term success,” said Sodexo’s Co-Lead, Global Pride, AJ Francavilla. “Inclusive teams bring diverse perspectives, make better decisions, deliver exceptional service and drive sustainable growth for our business and the communities we serve.”

“The Workplace Pride Global Benchmark is a leading international tool for measuring LGBTIQ+ inclusion in the workplace,” said Sodexo’s Global Head, Culture and Belonging, Tony Tenicela. “It assesses organizations across key dimensions including policy and communication, employee networks, workplace awareness, support and benefits, inclusion and engagement, monitoring, business and supplier engagement and societal impact.”

For Sodexo, this recognition is both a milestone and a reminder of the work still ahead. It reinforces both Sodexo’s global and regional ambition to make belonging a driver of employee experience, business performance and positive impact.
