Sodexo strengthens U.S. Campus leadership with appointment of Ellen Wilson as President and Chief Operating Officer, Campus

Wilson brings nearly two decades of growth and operations experience to support client retention, operational performance and student-centered campus experiences.

NORTH BETHESDA, Md. (July 9, 2026) — Sodexo, a global leader in food and services, today announced the appointment of Ellen Wilson as President and Chief Operating Officer, Campus, U.S., effective June 29, 2026, strengthening the leadership team responsible for advancing client partnerships, operational execution and the student experience across its U.S. Campus business.

In this role, Wilson will lead operational strategy for Campus with a focus on growth, retention and consistent performance for colleges and universities. Her appointment comes as Sodexo continues to sharpen its Campus business around client needs, consumer expectations and the operational discipline required to deliver high-quality food and hospitality experiences at scale.

“Campus clients are looking for partners who can bring strong execution, fresh thinking, and measurable value to the student experience,” said Ashton Sequeira, Chief Executive Officer, Campus & Schools, U.S. “Ellen has a proven ability to develop and launch new and innovative concepts that create continuous value for our clients and students. Combined with her experience in growth, operations, and client strategy, she is exceptionally well positioned to help us build momentum in Campus and deliver with greater consistency for the institutions we serve.”

Wilson is a seasoned executive with nearly two decades of experience leading growth, operations and large-scale business performance across the workplace, higher education and healthcare sectors. She joins Sodexo from Aramark’s Workplace Experience Group, where she most recently served as Chief Growth Officer and drove strategic expansion for a $1B+ business while leading a national team of senior growth and business development leaders.

“Sodexo is making bold moves at a time when colleges and universities are rethinking how campus dining and hospitality can support students, strengthen community and contribute to institutional goals,” said Wilson. “We have the potential to inspire change through our operations and I look forward to working with our teams and clients to bring disciplined execution, collaborative leadership and a strong focus on outcomes to Campus.”

Known for translating strategy into execution at scale, Wilson has a track record of accelerating enterprise growth, revitalizing underperforming regions and managing complex multi-site portfolios with a focus on operational rigor, client outcomes and long-term value. She holds an MBA from La Salle University and a dual bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Psychology from Temple University. Wilson also serves on the boards of Dress for Success Greater Philadelphia and the College Basketball Parents Association.
