  • MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (June 19, 2020) – Centerplate – the food and beverage partner to Hard Rock Stadium – today unveiled its menu plans and safety protocols for service at the global entertainment destination’s new outdoor theaters.

“The local community here in South Florida has been through trying times over the past 3+ months, and we hope this will provide an outlet for people to come and enjoy movies and classic games – and enjoy a meal – all together as we return to a sense of normalcy,” said Centerplate Vice President Kevin Mitchell. “We have been sure to follow each and every service protocol, in accordance with local health guidelines. And, all of our employees will be required to wear a mask.”

Menu offerings will include such guest favorites as pulled pork nachos, fire-roasted chicken spinach sandwiches, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, fries, popcorn, cotton candy, beers, cocktails, wines, sodas and more.

There is a proprietary in-stadium feature that allows for food to be ordered and delivered directly to vehicles. By texting “Dolphins” to 474747, guests will be re-directed to an online menu where food and beverage options will be available for purchase. Masks must be worn in all common areas where social distancing is not possible. Also, all Drive-Up theater parking spots are assigned a private viewing area directly in front of each vehicle. Guests are asked not to congregate in any public areas and to stay out of pedestrian walkways where possible.

There are two options for attending the Outdoor Theaters:

    • The all-new Open Air Theater will offer a socially distanced theater experience on the grounds of Hard Rock Stadium. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase reserved seating. The full schedule can be found here.
    • For the Drive-In Experience, guests will drive their cars onto the field of Hard Rock Stadium and be given the opportunity to listen to the movie from the comfort of their vehicle OR set up in an assigned "Tailgate Space" directly outside the vehicle while maintaining a 6' distance from all other vehicles and movie goers. The full schedule can be found here.

Nightly movie showings begin with Selma tonight at 7:15pm ET, and gates open at 6pm. Showing on the notable Juneteenth milestone day, Selma examines Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s courageous campaign for civil rights, highlighted by the historic 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, which led to the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
