  • As COVID-19 impacts all of us, we’re here to support our employees and those faced with uncertainty in their careers.

During this time of uncertainty, we would like to thank our Sodexo family for all their hard work. We couldn’t do it without our team’s relentless commitment to providing a safe environment for our customers.

Our employees are our number one asset and whether part time or full time we need to support them. As the service industry deals with the business implications of COVID-19, it’s just as important that we look at the human impact of our work as it is that we look at the bottom line. Our long-standing commitment to our employees is something we will stand by, especially at a time like this.

Focus on Your FutureWith that said, we also know this time brings uncertainty to those in positions at schools, colleges, restaurants and other locations that are either closed or offering limited services. As you look to the future, we want to support your career ambitions with tips and suggestions to help you prepare for when an opportunity presents itself. Here are some things you can do during this time:

    •    Update Your Resume!
    •    Use Social Media for your Job Search
    •    Prepare for Interviews
    •    Additional Job Seeker Tips

Now is also a good time to invest in yourself and learn a new skill or deepen your knowledge on a variety of subjects that may be helpful for your career ambitions. Many schools are offering free online courses, including 450 Ivy League courses in computer science, business and engineering. Also, many famous museums, zoos and aquariums are offering virtual tours where you can take a break without leaving your home.

Also know that your health and safety is top of mind with us. So, while we regularly participate in hiring events across the country, many are being cancelled in light of social distancing guidelines. You can still view the list of events for updates and click through for job openings at each location.

The coming weeks may be filled with more questions than answers. However, when it comes to your career goals, we’re still hiring and want to do all we can to help you prepare for your next career move. Check out our LinkedIn page for stories about how our employees are supporting their communities through this time and connect with us quick and easily on our Facebook page.
