Ryan Hickey, Sodexo’s executive chef for the University of Vermont, is known for his innovative approach to sustainable cooking. He constantly explores new ingredients and techniques to create dishes that delight students, faculty and staff.

For Ryan, food is a universal language that speaks through taste, smell and sight, transcending words. What amazed him most about joining Sodexo was discovering how much food was made from scratch, even at university-scale operations.
