Nationally Ranked Muhlenberg Dining Excels at Inclusive Menus
Niche, a market leader in connecting colleges with students and families, included Muhlenberg College on its list of 2025 Top Dining programs , ranking the campus #14 overall and #1 in Pennsylvania. This prestigious ranking is a testament to Sodexo Dining’s understanding of student needs and respect for diversity and inclusion in higher education .
Students at Muhlenberg can choose from five different resident dining services on campus, including a food truck, tossed-to-order salads, and after-practice smoothies for athletes. Woods Dining Commons is the hub of campus dining and home to The Noshery, an integrated kosher facility monitored by Mashgiach Temidi. Its separate kosher meat kitchen under Star-K certification and a kosher dairy kitchen under Star-D certification feature from-scratch recipes seven days a week. The Noshery offers a convenient dining solution built right into the meal plan for the estimated 21% of undergraduate Jewish students, according to Campus Hillel. Kosher students on the go also have access to freshly prepared salads and sandwiches in retail dining and kosher pizza takeout.
Niche rankings are based on rigorous analysis of key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education and millions of student reviews. Muhlenberg Dining General Manager, John Pasquarello, commented in reaction to the ranking, thanking the members of the community who provided feedback to Niche, saying, “It is great that our commitment to excellence and passion for food and service has not gone unnoticed.”
Muhlenberg and Sodexo have been building on the resident dining services and excellence for more than 75 years. We look forward to all that our campus partnership has yet to bring.
