Sodexo to bring new menus, culinary initiatives and commitment to community as Colby-Sawyer College’s new dining provider
NORTH BETHESDA, Md. (Oct. 27, 2026) — Colby-Sawyer College and Sodexo are pleased to announce a dining partnership, effective Jan. 1, that will introduce new menus, culinary experiences and hospitality offerings at the college under Sodexo’s leadership. With a focus on culinary creativity, blending student preferences with the latest meal trends, diverse flavors and the needs of the campus community, Sodexo will oversee the campus dining hall and two retail locations under the rebranded dining program, Colby-Sawyer Dining & Hospitality.
Sodexo now provides dining services across Ware Dining Hall, Victor’s Corner Café and Lethbridge Lodge, as well as expanded catering opportunities for campus events. The new dining program features varied menus across these locations, inspired by both local and global flavors, with recipes developed specifically for the college. Colby-Sawyer Dining & Hospitality also includes Mindful, Sodexo’s signature dining concept which supports students’ overall well-being through flavorful, satisfying meals that emphasize balanced nutrition, wholesome ingredients and plant-forward choices.
“As we add and unveil new menu items, concepts and dining initiatives, we’re also making it a priority to listen to the campus community,” said Ellen Wilson, president and chief operating officer, Sodexo Campus. “Feedback is central to how we build and implement our dining program; we want to understand what matters most to the Colby-Sawyer community and use that insight to shape the dining experience we provide. Listening and responding to the community is a commitment we take seriously and will remain at the heart of our services on campus.”
The Sodexo team’s near-term priorities include evaluating meal plans, expanding offerings at Lethbridge Lodge, developing allergen-friendly programs in partnership with certified dietitians and introducing new and diverse catering options. Sodexo at Colby-Sawyer College is also working toward launching a new dining website, digital menus, catering guides and other resources for the campus community.
“A dining program is critical to the experience of any college campus, which is why we approached the vendor selection process with such thoughtfulness,” said Robin Burroughs Davis, vice president for student development and dean of students at Colby-Sawyer. “With the fall semester well underway, we’re already seeing the Sodexo team listen closely to our community and use that feedback to shape their dining strategy. We look forward to a strong partnership that brings new energy to campus and continues to elevate our campus dining experience.”
