AIKEN, S.C. (September 11, 2025) – Sodexo announces a landmark 10-year partnership with the University of South Carolina Aiken (USCA), a respected institution dedicated to academic excellence and student success in South Carolina. This collaboration, which became effective July 1, 2025, brings an innovative dining program to the USCA campus that aims to support campus recruitment and retention efforts while delivering a first-class food experience to students, faculty, and staff.

Sodexo will feature popular national brands in addition to the company’s newest campus convenience experience, Food Hive. Food Hive at USCA will offer a lightning-fast, cashless payment experience with healthy food options and a strong community focus, supporting local partners as well as minority- and women-owned businesses. This is complemented by an exciting variety of new dining options and Sodexo’s One&All, the company’s newest resident dining concept, which is transforming dining halls nationwide this fall and beyond.

“This partnership reflects Sodexo’s commitment to being more than a service provider—we’re a strategic ally in helping USCA achieve its long-term enrollment and student engagement goals by enhancing the campus dining environment,” said Senior Vice President, Cal Thetford, Sodexo Campus. “Our dining program is crafted to be an asset for USCA by showcasing the university’s commitment to fostering student growth and on-campus innovation through nonacademic opportunities such as food.”

Leveraging the expertise of 50 Sodexo employees dedicated to delivering exceptional service, this new partnership underscores Sodexo’s commitment to building long-term, value-driven relationships with colleges across the U.S., helping create environments where students thrive academically and socially.

“Partnering with Sodexo marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to enrich campus life. We’re looking forward to delivering innovative, convenient, and inclusive dining options that not only nourish our students but also strengthen our community by supporting local and diverse businesses. Additionally, we are enthusiastic about the positive impact this program is expected to have on both attracting and retaining students, recognizing that food plays a vital role in the campus experience,” said Jeff Jenik, Executive Director, Campus Auxiliary and Support Services, University of South Carolina Aiken.
