Sodexo Seniors Welcomes Jenifer Salamino as Divisional President and Chief Operating Officer for the U.S.

(Dec. 10, 2025) — Sodexo, a leading provider in high-quality dining and facilities management solutions, has named Jenifer Salamino as the Divisional President and Chief Operating Officer for its United States-based Seniors business, effective Jan. 5, 2026. In this new role, Salamino will be responsible for shaping the future of Sodexo’s senior care business, driving operational strategy, financial performance, and regional growth for a portfolio worth more than $300 million. She will report to Molly Matthews, CEO, Healthcare & Seniors U.S.

As the Divisional President and Chief Operating Officer U.S., Sodexo Seniors, Salamino will lead the segment’s U.S. operations, which span high-potential markets, setting the vision for operational performance, service quality, and financial outcomes. She will lead a diverse, high- performing team with a focus on results, innovation and employee engagement, while also championing client relationships and strategic partnerships that drive business expansion.

Salamino brings more than two decades of experience to Sodexo, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and COO at AlerisLife, where she oversaw more than 130 senior living communities across 28 states. While at Sunrise Senior Living, Salamino rose from Assisted Living Coordinator to COO for North America, overseeing 285 communities, a $2B budget, and a team of 22,000. Throughout her tenure, Jenifer delivered record high occupancy and profitability results, all while fostering exceptional team member and resident satisfaction and retention.

She also held leadership roles at Modern MD Urgent Care and SaVida Health. Salamino has a Ph.D. in Health Administration, a master’s in public administration and gerontology, and a bachelor’s in health science.

Salamino succeeds Dave Gress, who is retiring from his role of COO, Sodexo Seniors U.S., after 35 years with Sodexo.
