Sodexo Receives 7 Awards from the National Association for College & University Food Services for Excellence in Wellness & Nutrition, Innovative Dining, Catering, and Allergen-Friendly Diets
BETHESDA, Md. (June 24, 2024) – Sodexo, a leader in foodservice and innovative dining solutions for campuses across the U.S., proudly announces seven award recognitions as part of the National Association for College & University Food Services (NACUFS) 2024 Loyal E. Horton Dining, Nutrition, and Sustainability Awards. Specifically, Sodexo teams at George Mason University (Fairfax, Va), Liberty University (Lynchburg, Va), Loyola University of New Orleans, and Texas Christian University (Fort Worth) received awards for innovative wellness and nutrition programs, excellence in resident dining and allergen-friendly dining, and for the best new dining facility among other accolades.

- Outstanding Outreach and Education Program of the Year (Gold Winner), Catering Special Event of the Year (Silver), and Most Innovative Wellness and Nutrition Program (Gold) at Texas Christian University
- Residential Dining Facility of the Year (Gold) and New Facility of the Year (Gold) at Liberty University
- Innovative Dining Program of the Year (Bronze) at Loyola University New Orleans
- Special Diet Program of the Year (Gold) at George Mason University
Every year, NACUFS unveils distinguished gold, silver, and bronze winners for the 2024 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards, Nutrition Awards, and Sustainability Awards. This year's awards program was enhanced with expanded categories, covering 12 categories specific to the Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards – including retail sales, catering, special events, renovations, and more – and three specific to the Nutrition Awards. The teams will all be recognized live during an awards ceremony at the upcoming NACUFS annual conference in Louisville, Ky.
