DENVER, Colo. (February 10, 2022) – Today, Sodexo Live!, the leading hospitality partner to the world’s most iconic venues, announced a new, multi-year agreement to provide catering and culinary services for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) and its diverse slate of venues in downtown Denver. This entails providing inventive menus and engaging displays for the Garner Galleria Theatre, Seawell Ballroom and Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, which dazzle audiences and capture a true Colorado-inspired flavor.

The Denver Center – one of the nation’s largest non-profit theatre organizations – is a mix of Broadway shows, Tony Award-winning plays, backstage tours, theater classes and dazzling venues. On an annual basis, there are about 50 productions for audiences throughout Colorado, the American West and beyond.

As a whole, Denver is renowned as a vibrant city full of arts and culture. With hundreds of museums and art attractions around the city, you can experience the history and culture of a tantalizing amount of topics, with a downtown metropolitan area that boasts world class theater, art exhibits and homegrown talent.

Sodexo Live! has deep ties to the Denver community, serving as the long-time catering partner to the Colorado Convention Center, where it constructed the renowned Blue Bear Farm which was the first large-scale garden at a convention center in the United States, one that supplies fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey to guests. The culinary team will look to incorporate items from the garden into menus at the DCPA as much as possible. The company also services the Arts Complex, in the form of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre and Boettcher Concert Hall.

John Hess, Event Sales & Business Manager at the DCPA, said, "We are happy to be working with Sodexo Live! as we invest in the guest experience for everyone who enjoys a show or plans an event here in Denver. We appreciate their expertise and commitment to utilize local employees and suppliers. Every decision that is made needs to be guest-centric, in order to best bring to life the essence of Colorado and the Mountain West, and that is going to be a focus of their offering."

Greg Fender, Executive Vice President, Sodexo Live!, added, "We are thrilled to be working with a management team here in Denver that will truly encourage us to focus on and innovate the guest experience, as we invest together in attracting throngs of audiences and a full slate of private events to the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
