Joint venture between Sodexo Live! and Gourmet Caterers will elevate hospitality services at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival

BECKET, Mass. (June 21, 2022)Jacob’s Pillow, a treasured 220-acre National Historic Landmark and home to America’s longest-running international dance festival, nestled in the expansive Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts, today announced an agreement with Sodexo Live! and joint venture partner Gourmet Caterers of Boston, to enhance the food, beverage and hospitality offerings for patrons.  

Boston Gourmet Management Company will incorporate the Berkshires’ naturally beautiful and eclectic influences into thoughtfully curated food & beverage offerings and displays at the Pillow. Menus, infused by inclusion of local ingredients, will complement the venue’s historic, artistic space – a 2011 recipient of the prestigious National Medal of Arts – both day-to-day and for large events, including this year’s Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.  

The festival runs June 22 – August 28 and brings in thousands of guests from the U.S. and around the world to bask in the history of dance. It’s a destination for performances from national and international dance companies, expert speaking engagements, free exhibitions, an extensive archival collection, community education and engagement programs, and The School at Jacob’s Pillow, one of the field’s most prestigious professional dance training centers.

Culinarians for Jacob’s Pillow will incorporate the latest trends and area flavors into menus. Enhancements and updated offerings will also be reflected in existing onsite eateries The Restaurant Café, The Pub and The Coffee Bar.  

The newly bolstered hospitality program will build upon many important values including diversity, sustainability, integrity, and inclusion to create unforgettable memories for every visitor.
