St. Patrick’s Day Specials Increase Food & Alcohol Sales 115%

Our New York and New England-area ski resort partners benefited from a turnkey St. Patrick's Day program that was conceived and implemented to increase food and beverage sales.

    The Challenge

    Create a holiday environment that enticed guests to continue celebrating on property after a day of skiing by creating and merchandising exclusive alcoholic beverages and other menu items designed to increase sales revenue.

    St. Patrick's Day Solution

    Using readily available inventory and sales data to determine guest preferences, Sodexo Live! conceived and implemented a limited-edition St. Patrick's Day bar menu available from March 17 to 19, 2023. Lucky guests could enjoy Tito’s Shamrock Shakers, an original cocktail crafted using Tito’s Handmade Vodka, club soda, and festive edible green glitter, and Guinness, the classic drink of choice for St. Paddy’s Day.

    Each location was provided with printed promotional tools and digital marketing assets for easy activation by on-site food and beverage teams. Adding themed cocktails, drink specials, giveaways, and entertainment increased food revenue and alcoholic beverage sales over the holiday weekend by over 115% across the five participating locations.
