5529-1The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) opened the spring 2023 semester with many new dining concepts, including a Crisol Latin Kitchen, which was chosen based on a “landslide” student vote. The menu explores the delicacies of two continents with recipes inspired by world-renowned Chef Roberto Santibañez and the expertise of Sodexo’s own chefs throughout North America. The award-winning brand is a melting pot of cuisine and culture that celebrates the distinctive, bold flavors of Latin countries around the world.

The dining concepts at UNC work together to build community on campus – from a mobile food cart that conveniently evolves and meets students where they are to engagement opportunities like trivia at the new burger joint. As important as ever, is creating a culture of belonging around the table. UNC is a federally designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) with 25.5% of undergraduate students identifying as Hispanic or LatinX in the fall of 2022. Crisol Latin Kitchen offers students the comfort of home with the authentic flavors they crave. Conveniently located within the University Center, the restaurant is a central campus hub for students to connect over a meal and explore culture through food.
