Sodexo champions local employment and growth, partnering with diverse and small suppliers, including disabled, ethnic minority, LGBTQ+, veteran, and women owned business. These businesses are vital for innovation and employment, driving us to foster inclusive partnerships amidst high competition and complex supply chains.

We optimize small, diverse businesses' capabilities for mutual benefit, embedding contract requirements for vendors to report spending with diverse small businesses. This practice ensures equitable opportunities even in areas we don't contract directly, aligning vendors with our values and expanding inclusivity within supply chains.

Animal welfare is a key component to our responsible sourcing and we continuously review our goals and policies. We continue to strengthen supplier relationships and tackle systemic challenges through collaborative groups.

Sodexo has earned its place on the prestigious A List for climate, confirming our ambitious and committed work on climate action. We are the only company in our sector to be A scored in CDP climate ranking and joins the 346 top-rated companies out of 21,000 scored. This recognition acknowledges the progress achieved by Sodexo on its climate ambition, both in performance and transparency.

2024 The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS)

Sodexo, a global food services and facilities management leader, has been awarded an A+ by the HSUS on its Protein Sustainability Scorecard for our commitment to embracing plant-based proteins.

EcoVadis

The EcoVadis assessment is a collaborative platform used to evaluate Corporate Responsibility performance. The assessment covers Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement dimensions. In 2024, Sodexo received a score of 72/100 placing us in the 95th percentile of all companies and the top 2% of companies in the food and beverage services industry.
