World Market Center Las Vegas Selects Centerplate to Provide Hospitality and Curate Guest Experience

Top-tier destination for meetings, conventions and social events set to transform its offerings in Downtown Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. & Stamford, Conn., November 13, 2019 – Centerplate, the leading hospitality partner to North America’s premier entertainment venues and convention centers, today announced it has been awarded the long-term contract with the World Market Center Las Vegas to provide hospitality and food service at the newly enhanced venue, following a competitive bidding process. The contract will grant Centerplate management of catering, food and beverage, and concessions services at the venue. 

The World Market Center Las Vegas maintains a five million-square-foot campus with three buildings and The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas slated to open In July 2020 situated on 59.4 acres in the heart of Las Vegas. World Market Center Las Vegas is home to the Las Vegas Market, showcasing more than 4,300 furniture, gift and home decor manufacturers and exhibitors attracting over 50,000 attendees each January and July. Its new Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, which will feature 194,785 gross square feet of exhibit space which can accommodate up to 1,000 booths, will host tradeshows, as well as corporate and private events. 

Centerplate’s creative vision is to differentiate and reinvent the total guest experience at World Market Center Las Vegas. The key focus is to rewrite the script by paving the way in leading culinary innovation and operational creativity not yet experienced at any other venue. Through understanding the local cutting-edge food trends along with dynamic customer service, Centerplate is influencing and setting a new Las Vegas standard.
