Centerplate at the Pasadena Convention Center and Pasadena Civic Auditorium Will Prepare Up to 300 Turkeys for Union Station Homeless Services Dinner in the Park on Thanksgiving Day

This Marks the 6th Year the Food and Beverage Provider Has Participated in the Holiday Tradition

PASADENA, CA, November 25, 2019 Centerplate, the exclusive food and beverage provider for the Pasadena Convention Center and Pasadena Civic Auditorium, announced today that it will once again prepare up to 300 turkeys to support the Union Station Homeless Services Dinner in the Park on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at Pasadena Central Park and feeds over a thousand people thanks to the help of volunteers and generous key partners.

“Over the past five years, it has been an honor for the Pasadena Convention Center and Centerplate to donate resources in order to help make Union Station Homeless Services Dinner in the Park a success,” said Michael Ross, CEO of the Pasadena Center Operating Company. “We are grateful for the services and meals they offer and are pleased to participate in such a giving cause.”

Taking place November 25 – 26, this year’s turkey preparations will be led by Jon Dubrick, Centerplate’s new regional executive chef who oversees the creation of food offerings at the convention center and civic auditorium. 

Centerplate has played an integral role in servicing a variety of meetings, events and conventions at the Pasadena Convention Center and Civic Auditorium.
