Promoting Inclusive Growth

We work closely with diverse local businesses encouraging new points of view, sparking innovation, and ultimately contributing to making a positive impact on communities. Our wide range of training programs and career initiatives actively support economic development and community engagement. For example, we help small local producers improve their processes and capacities, allowing them to tap into even bigger markets.

Partnering with Local Businesses

Our Partner Inclusion Program promotes the economic development of diverse and inclusive local businesses around the world.  We actively seek to bring diverse businesses into our network of suppliers, including minority-owned, women-owned, disabled-owned or LGBT-owned companies. These local partnerships contribute to the social fabric of the communities where we operate.

From social entrepreneurship projects for underprivileged women to supporting causes that move the needle on diversity, we are committed to making a positive impact in local communities.

Collaboration for Innovation

Sodexo’s collaboration with our stakeholders, including our vast supply base, NGOs, clients and new start ups allows us to find innovative solutions to complicated, collective societal challenges. This can include addressing packaging waste in the value chain, developing more sustainable products to offer our customers, supporting innovative startups with new technology or advancing social standards and transparency in the seafood industry.

Upward Social Mobility

By providing training opportunities to all our employees, we create a more skilled workforce for the local economy. Our employees gain transferable skills and qualifications as well as a broader professional perspective that allows them to grow into the future.
